Brighton and Arundel Tours

Spend a relaxing day in the seaside resort of Brighton, only 50 miles from London.

Visit the fascinating Royal Pavilion, a splendid Regency palace, built by the Prince of Wales, the future George IV, in 1783.

Stroll along the promenade and see the famous Victorian seafront piers or wander amongst narrow streets, The Lanes, full of antique shops and restaurants.


Arundel Castle

This tour will return through the delightful Sussex countryside via Arundel Castle, home of the Duke of Norfolk and his ancestors for over 700 years, built in the 11th century and situated in magnificent grounds overlooking the River Arun.

To complete this great day away from London, we can stop of at a country pub for dinner on the return journey if required.

Saltdean Lido and Rottingdean Village

If required we can incorporate a visit to Saltdean Lido, an open air swimming pool built in the 1930's in the Art Deco style. The lido has appeared on television a number of times including an episode of Poirot.

Rottingdean Village in a picturesque village steeped in history since Saxon times. Places of interest in Rottingdean are the windmill, St. Margaret's Church and Kipling's Garden. Try lunch in one of the ancient inns used by smugglers, artists and poets.
