Yorkshire and the Dales Tours

Yorkshire, Britain's largest county, although now divided into four, remains a mighty place.

Appoximately 220 miles from London this guided tour has to be done over 3 days. Alternatively, you could be met by our Yorkshire guide at your local hotel in which case it can be done on a daily basis.

York

York, a garrison town established here in the first century AD by the Romans, has over three miles of medieval walls and a series of quaint streets known as 'The Shambles' to walk around.

The 14th century cathedral, York Minster, the largest medieval church in England, has one of Europe's widest Gothic naves and an extensive array of medieval stained glass.

The Yorkshire Dales

Yorkshire Dales

The Yorkshire Dales is an area of outstanding natural beauty and variety.

Ranging from Ribblesdale, with the drama of waterfalls, craggy peaks and caves, to Upper Wharfedale, a much gentler valley of great charm and also including the ruins of Bolton Abbey and the town of Howarth where the Bronty Sisters lived.

Whitby

For a complete change try the seaside resort of Whitby, said to be where Count Dracula came to England!
