Pick-up and drop-off is simple and hassle-free. Our chauffeur will be waiting for you at the arrivals hall of the cruise ship terminal, then take you on your own luxury, personal tour of your chosen locations ensuring you get the very best from your experience. And at a price much less than any cruise ship operator!

Some of our guests require an overnight stay at a hotel or drop-off at an airport, whatever your end destination we will ensure you arrive safely and on time. You are spoilt for choice with London Country Tour, we can recommend a number of sights for you to visit, or customise it to your own requirements.

Generally on a day tour it is possible to visit 2-3 locations, depending on the port and return drop-off. Shorter tours are available if you have limited time during your stay. To make the most of your tour, we have listed the possible locations based on your cruise ship port.

Dover Port – Tour Locations

Some of the best castles in the UK are available to tour within a day from Dover. Choose from Dover Castle, the oldest fort in England and key in the countrys defence during both world wars, Leeds Castle, described as the loveliest castle in the world, Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, or Rochester Castle, famous for being one of the preserved and finest examples of Norman architecture.

Southampton Port – Tour Locations

Choose to add mystery to your day with a special trip to Stonehenge, built around 5,000 years ago and one of the wonders of the world, The Cotswolds, enjoy breath-taking countryside, sleepy villages made of honey-coloured limestone, Stratford upon Avon, the 16th-century birthplace of William Shakespeare, City of Bath, including the world famous Roman Baths, Winchester Castle & Cathedral, the birthplace of Henry VIII with a depiction of King Arthurs round table.

Portland Port – Tour Locations

Choose to add mystery to your day with a special trip to Stonehenge, built around 5,000 years ago and one of the wonders of the world and Salisbury Cathedral, which is built to the glory of God, this vibrant Cathedral church with Britain’s tallest spire and best preserved Magna Carta is just 8 miles from Stonehenge.

Or you can visit Dorset and the surrounding areas. Dorset is one highly recommended excursion is a trip to the 15th-century manor house, Athelhampton House, which is said to be haunted by the ghost of an ape. There’s also Lulworth Castle and the fascinating rock formations at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.

Classic Attractions

Other classic attractions include Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Harrods, Shakespeare’s Globe and Kensington Palace. Our expert driver guide will be delighted to explain the history of them and share interesting stories, giving you a rare and personal insight into one of the greatest cities of the world.

For lunch a lot of our guests like to eat at a traditional English pub, however we can recommend a number of options for you to choose from on the day.

For your convenience we can arrange to purchase any venue tickets on your behalf, and if required recommend a hotel or book dinner at a restaurant of your choice. London has some of the finest Michelin Star restaurants, including The Greenhouse, The Ledbury, The Square, La Gavorche Michel Rou Jr, Gordan Ramsay in Chelsea. What better way to finish your luxury tour!
