Tour Overview…

Brighton

From iconic tourist attractions to an impressive beachfront and Victorian pier, Brighton is a treasure trove of things to see and places to go. On your private tour you will experience the extraordinary Royal Pavilion, an exotic palace originally built as a seaside pleasure palace for George IV. Followed by a walk through The Lanes, Brighton’s historic intricate maze of twisting alleyways with a unique mix of antiques, jewellery and other shops. The spectacular Brighton Pier awaits you to complete your classic seaside tour.

Arundel Castle

A restored and remodeled medieval castle, and home to the Duke of Norfolk, Arundel Castle is known for its stunning features and impressive gardens. On your visit you will discover a fine collection of paintings, furniture and the amazing Baron’s Hall and State Apartments. The gardens are simply magnificent and make for a very peaceful and tranquil stroll.

South Downs

Off the typical tourist trail, our private tour guide will take you to see the quaint downland villages of Amberley known for their thatched cottages, chalk pits and ancient castle. Set in the beautiful Sussex Downs, there is also a working museum home to a vast array of old agricultural and industrial machinery,

Alternative Tour Sights

This tour can be customised with a visit to 1066 Battle of Hastings, Abbey and Battlefield (the greatest historical battlefield in Britain, King Harold and William the Conqueror). Due to location, this will limit your day tour to just one additional visit. We will happily discuss your preference with you upon booking.

Lunch and Notes

For lunch our tour guide will give you a number of options to choose from on the day. The guide will stay with you at most locations but we cannot guide you inside all venues, you can discuss this with your guide on the day once you have agreed an itinerary. But the guide will tell you what and where to go and all the history and what time and where to meet once you are done at any self-guide locations you choose to visit.
