Windsor, Eton & Hampton Court Tours

Hampton Court Palace postcard

You’ll be treated like royalty on this very regal tour, that takes in Windsor Castle (one of the Queen’s official residences) and Hampton Court (where the notorious Henry VIII used to live), with its outstanding gardens and elaborate maze. Windsor itself is a great place to shop and enjoy traditional English tea and crumpets.

Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle

This is one of England’s largest royal palaces. See the magnificent State Apartments, containing many great works of art, St George's Chapel (the burial place of many Kings and Queens) and Queen Mary's Dolls’ House, exquisitely perfect to the tiniest detail.

Close by is Eton, one of England's most famous public schools, where the boys are still dressed in traditional black tail coats. We’ll also take you to see the Kennedy Memorial at Runnymede where King John signed the Magna Carta in 1215.

Hampton Court Palace

Hampton Court

This great palace is set beside a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. Built in 1514, it was once lived in by the notorious King Henry VIII (the ghost of one of his executed wives, Catherine Howard, is said to haunt the corridors!). There’s also the world famous astronomical clock, built in 1540.

"The battle of Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton"
Attributed to Field Marshal Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, who studied at Eton as a boy (1769-1852)
